II. Main Character:
- John Forbes Nash Jr.- He provided breakthrough in mathematics. He was named as "the most promising young mathematician in the world". He graduated from Princeton. He married his student named Alicia Larde .He was also part of the Department of Defense. Charles Herman is the one who asked him to join in the Department of Defense. After he was given a "top secret mission" he became paranoid about things.
- The supporting actors:
- Alicia Larde- she was a student of Nash who caught his attention and became his wife. She helped Nash in recovering from being a paranoid.
- Charles Herman- he is the best friend of Nash who is supporting him in what he does.
- William Parcher- the person who invited Nash in the United States Department of Defense.
III. Setting:
- The setting is in in the Princeton University where he studied and where all the things that happened in his life began. And most especially where the important things happened in his life.
- Another setting is in the bar where he was inspired to make the concept of governing dynamics.
IV. Plot: The Action/Summary of the story:
- John Nash arrives at Princeton University and studied there. He met his best friend Charles Herman. He also met a couple of students who has promising math and science graduates.
- He met a girl at the bar who rejected him and most especially inspired him in making his thesis paper
- He became a teacher in the MIT and met his wife Alicia Larde
- He met William Parcher who invited him in the United States Department of Defense to decode a code and actually he did it with his mind that and surprised other codebreakers.
- He was assigned to a "secret mission" and write a report about it. The Russians chased Nash and as a result he became paranoid and behave differently.
- Nash eventually returned into teaching and won Noble Memorial Prize in Economics for his work on game theory.
V.Theme
- The author is trying to say that even though that you have an intelligent mind, but what is important is to have a beautiful heart. A beautiful heart can be a really successful person by which everyone will adore him or her.
- the problem in the story was when Nash became paranoid. and he returned to his self through his wife that is been there for him all along even though he was a paranoid.
VI.Evaluation of the book:
- I like the movie because it taught me things that life maybe will give me in the future.The hardships that he faced in his life was hard to face but he was determined in solving his problems. This movie inspired me a lot in facing problems of life because there are really people that will never leave your side no matter what will happen to you and will guide in life.
